We'll discuss your needs and determine the best approach to recovering your data. Next, we'll send your drive in for you. They will take a look at the drive and confirm an exact estimate for the recovery process. With your approval, they will recover your data and send it and your original drive back to you safe and sound.
Technically, we only need the physical hard drive or storage media. If the data is on a drive in a computer or other device, bring it in and we will remove the hard drive or storage media for you. Also, if you can provide a list of the specific files you are looking for, it will help us ensure we recover what you need but we can start digging.
Data recovery is tricky depending on the exact device that failed and the nature of the failure so the time it takes to recover files can vary as much as the price does. Once we recover your files, we save them to an appropriate external media and contact you.
